My blog explores how we, as teachers, create community in a classroom. My writing is inspired by interactions that happen everyday in my classroom, the relationships of the kids and the social dynamics that reflect the kindness and wisdom of children.
I am an early childhood teacher, and a former journalist and marketer. Using my students and classes as mini case studies to demonstrate how I guide them in social and academic growth, I hope to put into words the very dramatic and powerful shifts that can happen inside the walls of a classroom as I strive to help form good and wise little citizens of the world.
